It is unusable most of the time, even just for reading posts. Topics don't open. I've tried a couple of different browsers and after a while they just get swamped by pop up ads.

Forums are dying off anyway, right?

So in terms of access and being able to post, it’s working from my laptop (using Edge), my phone and my iPad (both Apple devices. What is clear is that traffic is very significantly down, or that I’m not seeing it if it’s not down.


Seems a shame really, Southstander has been a (mostly) fun place to read and post for more than 20 years for me.

Are people posting elsewhere or just not bothering?

Cheers bud, I've just signed in on Edge. I know this site is frustrating, but I'll just keep my patience with it for now. 

Yep be a big shame if it dies off… really needs work to improve the ease of use. It puts me off posting sometimes as it’s so much harder than it should be
