| Good that we've got a home game to try and right the wrongs of yesterday. I expect to see a positive reaction, no sense feeling sorry for ourselves.
If Keyes is fit I'd bring him in. I'd also bring Mason in for either Liu or Waine. If Hallas plays it's got to be as loose forward.
Shame we've no winger we can bring in so that Armitage can be moved into the centres. Gill will get picked as there's no competition for places. When is Taufua back?
Hooley Okunbor Blake Armitage - but would have to be Liu I suppose ??? Keyes Lilley Lawrence Souter Bayliss Gee Fulton Donaldson
Ott Hallas Mason Michael

| Be interesting how we react to this. Widnes had a week off which will help them.
Widnes whitewashed us 3-0 last year. We know what to expect. Nothing flashy but they will hang in there and we'll have to grind them down. So it's whether we can learn any patience.
Agree about Hallas. I'd bring him off the bench as interchange with Donno. I'm a big critic of his but I feel if he came off the bench for Donno yesterday, our defence in the middle wouldn't have parted as easily as it did.
A good win here keeps us on track for a good season. A loss though and I feel it will take time to lift the morale of the fans and players.

| Yep two tricky games coming up now - this and then Donny away before a week off when we then welcome York back to Odsal straight after their trip to Wembley.
Finishing above Toulouse and giving ourselves a chance of all home ties has to be the target now if we are serious about having a successful season.
Easier said than done of course.

| By the sounds of it Scurr, Keyes, and possibly Mason to come back into the 17. And maybe Waine, Lui to miss out. Need ti bounce back from last week with much improved disciplined defensive display. Widnes won’t be pushovers and have Maizen and AJ Towse in their ranks now.

| I reckon Widnes might fancy their chances tomorrow. They will turn up to frustrate the Bulls and play a simple but effective game.
If we turn up feeling sorry for ourselves and looking to take shortcuts it will be a long afternoon for us.

I feel exactly same way. We have to get rid of the hangover of the York cup game and get back to winning ways. One thing that works in our favour is the number of points Widnes have scored recently. They've scored 84 points in their last 6 games. They're averaging 14 points a game and we are scoring on average 33 points a game. The stats suggest it should be a straightforward win but I have a feeling it could be a tough afternoon.

| Well, Meadows, Lui, Waine out. Keyes, Mason, Scurr in.
The pack has been strengthened. My only issue is I don’t remember the Keyes/Lilley combination being great 6 years ago. But everyone changes, different team, different coach, it’s worth seeing

| Half time, and Bulls down 18-20, after being 12-0 up after 8 minutes. We went to sleep for 15 minutes, and Widnes back into the match. Nothing changes. Bulls should have had this match sewn up, but defence frailities, pens, and mistakes all added up to being behind at half time.

| Made life tough for ourselves, but a really workmanlike effort to get the win today. The result could have gone either way with 20 minutes to go - and my money might have been on Widnes. Bulls pressure told in the end, and Widnes collapsed in the last 10 minutes. Not as convincing a win as the score might suggest, but enjoyable all the same.

| Really important two points to make sure the disappointment of last week doesn't linger.
Still some frustrating aspects of our play, but I thought we looked a million miles better with Keyes out there.

| How long until Holmes is back? Chance that he might end up back challenging for stand off spot? Probably his best chance of breaking back into the team whilst Hooley is playing so well at FB.
Glad to see Lilley back kicking conversions, appreciate he missed the penalty to tie the scores up but I think he has been the most reliable kicker this season.
Wasn't the best first half, still too many defensive errors but tightened things up in the 2nd half and got ourselves over the line.
