Basically, it is between Leigh, Halifax and London for 4th, we need Fev and Toulouse to beat Halifax & London and then we should guarentee 4th, IF, and its a big IF, we beat Batley in the next game.
If we loose that, then we are counting on others results to go our way which I just can't see.
[uAll based on the assumption we can will all our 4 games[/u
I don't think this result is as bad as you think - in fact it has some positive aspects. Before today we needed London to lose two games because we were very unlikely to catch them on points difference. Their PD is 158 better than ours - so even if we win all 4 games we have to do so with a 40+ point difference in each game - which is a massive ask.
So in reality we needed them to lose two games and finish on 30 points. We are still in exactly the same situation - if they lose one more game the max they can achieved is 31 points - job done!
The added benefit of the draw is that it puts added pressure onto Toulouse - so hopefully they may still have something to play for when they meet Halifax and it is not a dead rubber.
Just need to beat Batley tomorrow and starting building the pressure on the others.
