| Wouldn't it be lovely to keep a fully fit squad now until the end of the season. I know we'll have niggles but just the odd week here and there would be superb.
As for Tomkins I didn't think he looked fully fit. He looked to be playing at half pace at times and I'd have no issue with him missing Saints. I'd rest both second rowers and Richards as well tbh but doubt most would agree. I'd feel very comfortable going to Saints with Thornley on the wing, Tuson and Hughes in the backrow and Burke on the bench.

| Sam seemed to be feeling his way back into things, but Lockers looked more confident, particularly in the second half. Lockers looked like he's rested and ready for the business end of the season.

| Lauaki was warming up with the squad prior to the Widnes game.
I'd take it that if a Wigan forward had pulled up in the warm up Lauaki would have played.
