My opinion on Aydin is that he stood out last year because he was much fitter than everyone else, now fitness levels are up across the board he doesn't stand out as much.
He does the little things well (defensive efforts, kick chase etc) but overall I think he's a pretty average player. Doesn't seem to have the grunt in attack which you'd argue the likes of Ese'ese/Knight/Eseh JR and Ashworth have over him.
Still got age on his side for a forward but I think he realistically should be seen as a squad player should we have top 4 ambitions in the next couple years.
Grunt isn't a desired characteristic in modern SL, it's chatting to the ref, rolling on the floor, flapping like a fish when tackled that wins you games... That sounds like the Premier League football

| I think Litten has had a fairly good start to the year, big threat in the air, makes metres, tackle busts are fairly high and I'd say his defence has improved too. Thought he did a good job on Newman and if anything looked the better centre.
He is also back from a serious injury and playing a fairly new position.
Think he will make a good centre, needs to keep playing there. Think we have bigger short and long term concerns.

Ashworth definitely cost us in the first half. But to be fair to the kid was instrumental in getting the Leeds player pushed back and tackled in goal straight after HF which lead to our try ... At 16/4 up we can't put all the blame on him. I'd get him signed up ...Big lad runs his weight and always gives is all.....Sport is fine margins . We make that last tackle and we be all celebrating a good win. Definitely not having any Second rowers is hurting us as we have no running threat out wide ... . Maybe worth trying Ashworth there again ?
If we can keep Eseh and one of Knight or Sao, I'd release Ashworth. Knight/ Sao and Hill, with the 4th prop from Eseh, Fash or Aydin. I'd love us to get Harrison, but just can't see that happening. No quota change, then I think we have to keep Ashworth I just don't see it with Ashworth tbh. I might be on my own but I'd let him go.

| number 6:
need to get Hardaker back at centre, Rapana wont play next week at Leigh, Kirby to come in to cover second row with Fash and Chamberlain.
Kirkby, Fash and Chamberlain, weakest ever second row we've had in SL?

Aydin is a tireless defender, but unfortunately doesn't make much yardage, similar to Lane . IF Ashworth can curb his brain farts, I'd keep him..
